As of December 1, 2011 you can order these earrings directly from Emily. Simply contact Emily at elbzdyk(at)ucdavis.edu (Insert @ where "at" is in parentheses.) All other items can be ordered from the Bohart Gift Shop website.

Payment can be by check made out directly to Emily and sent to her attention in the museum. Once your check has cleared, she will then send your earrings to you. There is a delay in shipping due to the overwhelming popularity of these hand-crafted earrings. As soon as they are made, we ship them out. These California State Insect earrings are handmade and decorated by Emily Bzdyk, a graduate student studying bees and pursuing a PhD.

Making jewelry and other art has always been one of her passions. This often intersects with science, whether it is scientific illustration or decorative art based on biological subjects.

Emily's goal is to help fund her bee research with the sale of her artwork.
