A 54-page book of original poetry and full-color illustrations, by UC Davis professor emeritus Al Grigarick, and former Bohart Museum of Entomology preparator Marina Planutiene. There are one or more poems for each of the 33 orders of hexapods (30 insect orders plus the three primative hexapod orders). Additional pages provide information on the pronounciation and derivation of order names, as well as a guide to the classification of insects.
