Product Description

This 18"x24" poster has beautiful images of the most common Pacific invasive ant heads. Below each image is a description with a common name and the origin of each ant. To the left of each image is a small box which has the actual size of the ant head.

The Argentine Ant is the first one listed and the one we tend to find most in our kitchens here in Davis!
Some of us will never see these ants up close with so much detail. These images are the work of Eli Sarnat, UCD graduate student who works with outreach education in Fiji. His thesis work involves taxonomy of native Fijian ants, but his interest is in educating others about invasive ants, how to identify them and how to tell the difference between native and invasive ants.
A major portion of the Pacific Invasive Ants Poster sales will go directly to support Eli's continuing research in Fiji and his continuing outreach education programs.
The poster is 18"x24" and fits in a standard poster frame. It can be purchased either plain or laminated. And your purchase directly supports continued outreach education work in Fiji.
