This is an original drawing by entomology undergraduate student Courtney Lambert. After graduation, Courtney will be pursuing a graduate degree in Scientific Illustration. She has volunteered in the museum doing various illustration projects and so we thought we would share her talent with you.
Funds generated from these beetle tshirts will help provide continuing undergraduate support and training at the Bohart Museum.
The males of Dynastes granti, or Western Hercules Beetle, have a huge horn and the female does not. These beetles are found commonly in parts of Arizona after the monsoons.
